Journey
Nothing has changed, except people I’ve seen.
I’m back again to where I used to be.
But standing here right now I feel so free.
To sum it all – what a journey I’ve had.
Through ups and downs, through the good and the bad…
And through all the struggles painful and sad.
The world’s slings and arrows that were in store
Fallen, battered, ignored, bruised and much more.
Arduous may this journey best be described.
But through it all I know I have survived.
Dear Mum and Dad, my heart longs to be true.
My long journey has come a full circle.
No need to run nor hide – I have grown strong.
For home is the place I truely belong.
