As I wander along the streets tonight,
I feel a sense of loss which grows in me.
The love windows have shut their doors on me,
leaving me now to lick my wounds in sight.
I want to know where you have gone my love.
Are you still near or far away somewhere?
I do no want sunrise to hurt my love,
destroy and tear it all up here and there.
The sky glisters with stars which shine with warmth
sitting pretty beside the sick pale moon.
At least I know the moon will hide me now,
far far away from the garish bright sun.
Fly me near you, oh moon! Teach me just now!
For now I send my days with you in tears.
