Lies
My friends warned me never to fall for you.
But I chose to follow where my heart went.
And now I see you in your true colours.
The love you felt for me was never true.
You told me lies, which I was blinded by;
your words which were all candy sweet were lies.
You spinned nice tales to cheat me of my love.
You lied to me so much, yet I never knew.
O curse the day I fell in love with you.
You took me up so high, then broke my heart.
I know the pain I feel now all in me.
My tears, which flow now flow all to the sea.
And now I weep all through the nights alone.
I was foolish to be cheated by you.
